This book is falsely advertised on the front cover as having 4 full length practice tests. On Amazon they state that there are 3 full length practice tests. Both statements are false. There are only 2 practice tests in the book. We assumed that the other two tests would be online. There is one practice test online that is identical to Practice Test 1 in the book, therefore, there are only 2 full length tests available. We bought this book exclusively for the 4 practice tests. There is no phone support for Kaplan books so we finally reached someone on the phone with Kaptest.com. They acknowledged the misrepresentation, but said our only recourse was to mail the book back to Simon and Schuster for a refund. The cost for mailing the book back is about half what the refund would be. I told them that I was more interested in getting access to two more tests than I was in a refund. The representative refused to allow us access to the tests available under other Kaplan ACT programs, so we are stuck. It is unconscionable that they could so blatantly lie on the front cover and in advertising for this book.

The last chapter in the Kaplan ACT prep book has a very useful list of 100 key math concepts for the ACT. This list is very useful for quick review before doing practice tests. I do not think the rest of the book is useful. I suggest reviewing the math concepts and practicing on real ACT tests instead of the practice tests in this book. The book also has test prep "workouts." I think it is better to "workout" on real official tests.
