Eighteen peer-reviewed papers explore the latest information on theoretical and applied ecology, especially as it relates to characterizing environmental risks to wildlife and the requirements of environmental managers. Until recently, many areas which have low to moderate levels of chemical contamination were subjected to intrusive remediation efforts; the consequence being substantial destruction of existing wildlife habitat and low potential for enhancing better quality habitat at the affected site. This new ASTM publication addresses these issues.
