From 1970 to 1988 McDonnell Douglas built 446 DC-10s of all models that still work around the clock carrying passengers and freight. This book includes details of each operator of the DC-10--including illustrations of all major color schemes--as well as coverage of the U.S. Air Force's use of the KC-10A Extender, a tanker/transport plane. Arthur Steffen, of Frankfurt, Germany, was a flight attendant and purser for twenty-five years with Air Canada & Lufthansa, including 20 years of safe DC-10 flights.
