The technology dynamics of the digital age continue to impact where industries and firms locate and cluster geographically. Some of the impacts and structural patterns are consistent with the old or Fordist economic era; some are not. Thus, the contributions provide a balanced view of the "New Economy" or "Digital Economy" perspective and through new analyses illustrate where dynamics seem to be emerging and where more traditional patterns seem to be holding.
